Knowledge, Attitude and Prevention of Lassa fever Transmission among Women in Nnewi North Lga, Anambra State, Nigeria

Purpose: Lassa fever is a disease of public health concern associated with significant morbidity and mortality. It noted to be endemic in the west-African belt seasonal variations usually epidemics. Nigeria among other countries known suffer from this. This study aims determine Knowledge, attitude, prevention Fever transmission women Nnewi North LGA Anambra State contributory factors.
 Methodology: A cross-sectional conducted between 1st 30th September, 2022. Data was collected using pretested interviewer-administered questionnaire 252 respondents. analyzed SPSS version 25.0.
 Results: Their mean age 33.40 years ranging 18-69 years. Overall, 80.2% respondents had good knowledge on fever, 77.8% attitude towards 84.9% showed level practice its prevention. Educational statistically factor all these. 21% reported through workers.
 Conclusion: There high knowledge, resident educational status being major determinant. will significantly help reduce burden though means awareness differed different individuals.
 Practical Implication: need improve by workers order integrity content population’s education.
